Midnight Madness Challenge #68 and Exciting News!

I think #68 is my new lucky number!  I am thrilled to be able to announce that I will be a Guest Designer for the Midnight Madness Challenges beginning today!  I was contacted early this Summer and asked if I would like to be a guest designer, and of course I nearly flipped out I was so excited!  I've participated in quite a few of the weekly challenges and won some "Midnight Madness Remarkable" awards.  The hardest thing to do has been keeping my lips sealed with this fantastic news.  I've had a chance to get to know the designers the last couple of weeks and they are such a fun and talented bunch of ladies!

I'd also like to announce that not only was I selected for the Midnight Maness team, but I'm also on the very first design team for Priscilla Styles!  I guess that's what you'd call a double hitter!  This is also mentioned on the Midnight Madness blog today.

This week's sketch...
I was so excited to create a card with Michelle Perkett's "Winter Lady".  I've been a fan of her's for quite some time.
I tried a new technique for embossing digital stamps.  I printed my image on light blue vellum and embossed part of the image with silver embossing powder.  I then colored the backside of the image with Copic markers.  I added die cut snowflakes, mounted with Prima roses, satin ribbon, some beading centers and Dew Drops.  My DP is from Heidi Grace.

This week's sponsor is Wags n' Whiskers and our monthly sponsor is Michelle Perkett Studio.  Why not join us next week for another exciting challenge?

Thanks for visiting!

I love the cool, icy feel you have created with your card. You have made Michelle's image look FAB with the embossing.

You card is awesome and I am going to try that embossing on vellum!! I want to be able to emboss digi.
