Pixie Dust Studio - Take the Pixie Challenge!

Thursdays are Pixie Dust Studio challenge day!  This week's challenge is "Cute as a Button".  All you need to do is make a card/creation using buttons.  Now this I enjoy, buttons are one of my favorite embellishments.  Here is my card for the challenge:

Under the Weather

  Sad little gnome!  I think he's tired of the rainy weather!   I colored him with bright Copic colors to cheer him up.  

My DP is from the Basic Grey "Marrakech" collection and my card stock is from SU.  Buttons, buttons, buttons!  These are all from my button tin.  I love to go to thrift stores, flea markets, whatever and add to my collection.

Paper Cupcakes

Catchy title?  Paper Cupcakes is actually the name of a new stamp company in town.  My card today is for Nina's Magical Monday challenge, which can be found here.  I used the swimming chick which was a freebie image.  The challenge was to create a card with 3 different design papers.

 I am really loving this Cosmo Cricket "DeLovely" collection.  I used my Copic markers to match colors in the DP and added - you guessed it - buttons!  My sentiment is from Verve and seems to capture the "magic".

Pixie Dust Studio's Newest Collection - Gnome World!

Today's the official release day for Pixie Dust Studio's newest collection!  Now who doesn't like gnomes?  I've seen them in your gardens!  These are just part of the fabric of fairytales that owner/designer Kathy designs for her fabulous collections.  I had a great time designing my "gnomie" cards.  Here is my card to celebrate today's release:

Gnome is where the Heart is

I had a lot of fun creating all my cards with this collection, I do believe this is the "brightest" one!   I colored with my Copics, used Cosmo Cricket "DeLovely", DCWV and SU card stock.  Added a little country crinkle ribbon, raffia lace and a butterfly thrown in for good measure!

Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #64 - Lord of Harvest

Here is my second card for the current  Midnight Madness Challenge!   This is "Lord of Harvest" which is also a new design from Sugar Creek Hollow and another sneak preview.  This card is my "fancy" take on the sketch, although I'm not sure which is actually the fanciest, LOL

I used the same design paper as with my other MMSC card.  Pumpkin theme again to go with the digital stamp!  Here is the sketch I followed:
