Michelle Perkett Monochromatic Challenge

I was just "bustin" to make a card today. I ordered some gorgeous digis from Michelle Perkett and decided to participate in Challenge #11 which calls for a monochromatic card. I chose "Forest Fairy" which is such a gorgeous image and I enjoyed challenging myself on this one. I even decided to fore go using a skin tone color and colored the hair in blue tones.

I used fabric behind my image and then mounted this on card stock which I punched with a Martha Stewart border punch. I then added lace around the bottom of her gown and then added a wisp of tulle with a beaded stickpin.

I used the following Copics: B0000, B00, B02, B12 and B93.

Happy Birthday Party Sophia!

Here is another card I created using Kraft'n Kimmie's stamp, Lillith. I used Basic Grey's Euphoria collection for my dp. Lillith had to be colored in shades of purple since that is Sophia's favorite color. Tomorrow is the big birthday party! Several friends are invited for an afternoon party - all geared towards four-year olds. I am sure there will be lots of princesses in attendance since nail polishing is one of the fun activities. Too bad we could not find any princes disguised as frogs, LOL!

I used Copics for my coloring: G21, G14, G07, YG63, G0000, BV0000, E00, E000, E39, E99, R11, Y17, V04, V06, V12 and V17.

Softpencil Challenge 13, Part 2

I am actually sharing a card with you today that was created by my four-year old granddaughter. We had a fabulous week of "crafting with Gramie". Every time I went to my craft room I had a little shadow following close behind. When I made my entry for the Softpencil challenge, Sophia wanted to make a card too. I did the cutting and made the sentiment for her, but she did all the rest.

I think her favorite part of making the card was adding the red stickles!
