I hope everyone had a glorious weekend! And what a weekend it was, my daughter as well as countless others experienced "snowmageddon". I kept busy yesterday working on creations for Sugar Creek Hollow. This is our preliminary preview week and members of our design team will be introduced on the store website every day. So to celebrate getting closer to our grand opening on March 1st, I want to share "Primsy Angel". (Note: I edited this post to add my picture back, seems Blogger does not want to display my original pic below - just a "?").
Isn't she just precious? I paper pieced her and added a few lavender shades with my Copic markers, as well as facial colors. I wanted a vintage look so I used distressed inked paper and also distressed the edges of my purple SU card stock. I also used jute for my buttons and laced it around my punched layer of card stock.
Thanks for visiting today and make sure you take time to visit Sugar Creek Hollow this week!

What an adorable card! I like the look of the jute and how you threaded it through the three buttons in the corner.

So sweet! I really like how you managed to make it look old fashioned and homey and yet perky and modern too.
