A Little "Whimsy" For You

Whimsy and Stars Studio that is!  I've been taking a break from my blog but had to get back in the swing to show you these two adorable images from Whimsy and Stars Studio, the creation of Maybelle R.O.  There is a design team call still open that will be ending on May 31.  Still time to get your entries in!  And there will soon be a blog hop...

Here is Girl with Kitty:

And Best Friends:

My first design paper is from Webster's Pages and the second is Basic Grey.  All coloring was done with Copic markers and distress inks.  The "friends" sentiment is from JustRite's "Circle of Love" collection.  Both of the "girls" are available from Maybelle's store here .

My girlfriend and I did our first craft show on May 18th, that has been where all my time has been going, LOL!  I honestly did not sell one thing at the show but I did receive an order for Christmas cards.  The "craft show" turned out to be more like a flea market, but it was a great experience for our first show and we were able to take photos to submit for our entries into two of the more upscale shows coming to our area.  I am also creating jewelry and would like to try my hand at glass etching.  Just add that to crocheting, cards and a new yen for knitting - there are not enough hours in the day!

Thanks for visiting my blog, especially since I've been absent for a while.  I love sharing my creations and chatting with you!

Have a blessed day!

Whimsy and Stars Studio Blog Hop and Design Team Showcase

Greetings and welcome to the  Whimsy and Stars Studio May blog hop!  The design team has been busy creating new cards to share with you featuring Maybelle's new May digi release now available in her store.  Two lucky random winners will be chosen.

Garden Joy is such a beautiful Spring time image and also perfect if you love to be outside and enjoy flower gardening.   I am looking forward to more Spring weather, it seems as if Winter has been paying a few unexpected calls around here.  This adorable image would be just great to create that special Mother's Day card.

I used My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline Fiddlesticks design paper.   My image was colored with Copic markers and distress inks.    I used Martha Stewart, Stampin Up, and a Marvy scallop punch.   My flower was made using punches and a dot of  Viva Pearl Pen in ice white.  My cardstock is from Stampin Up, and Georgia Pacific.

Thank you for hopping with us today! Your next stop on the hop is the talented  Melissa's blog.  Don't forget to leave a comment at each stop on the hop to increase your chances of winning a digi of your choice!

Here is the entire blog hop list in case you get lost along the way:
