Wonderfully Fabulous

That's the sentiment I used on the card I have to show to you today:

You can find any sentiment you are looking for at Create with TLC.  Paulette has tons of sentiments and images.  This sentiment can be found here in the "Wonderfully Fun" set.  I used cardstock and design paper from my stash.  My sentiment and red die cut were made using Spellbinders dies and the white die cut was made using a Cheery Lynn die.  I used black organza ribbon from Michael's and my red gingham is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I'm giving this to someone in my life who is truly wonderful.  Thanks for visiting, I love reading your comments and appreciate all your support!

Heartfelt Creations Alumini Blog Hop

I can't believe May is almost gone and we are speeding into summer!  The last Tuesday of the month is set aside for the monthly Heartfelt Creations Alumni Design Team Blog Hop.  I have used a  Heartfelt Creations stamp that was brand new in the package and just begging to be inked up, "Aztec Gold Sunflowers".  Sunflowers have always reminded me of summer and all things bright and beautiful.   If you arrived here from Lisa's
blog then you are on the right track.  If not, you will want to start at the beginning with Olga's blog so you don't miss any of these beautiful creations!

My card base is Canson cardstock and I stamped my sunflowers on Stampin Up cardstock using  Adirondack Pitch Black ink.  I used  a Spellbinders oval die for my sentiment and cut my leaves on Bazzill cardstock using  Spellbinders "Foliage" collection.  My design paper is from PinkPaislee's Queen Bee collection.  My flowers were colored with distress inks.

Thanks for visiting!  Your next stop on the hop is Linda's blog and she has a gorgeous creation to share with you!  Be sure to leave a comment on every blog you visit while you're hopping because one randomly chosen commenter will win a $25 gift certificate to shop at Heartfelt Creations.  You have until Friday, June 1st at midnight EST to leave your comments.  The winner will be announced Saturday, June 2nd at noon.  The winner will need to email Emma Lou with "winner of May Alumini Hop" in subject line.  Here is a complete hop list in case you get lost hopping:

Happy Sunday morning!  I have my son-in-law, daughter and grandchildren visiting for the Memorial Day weekend - yippee!  My granddog is also visiting and she and my Lab Mollie are getting along like they've know each other forever.  I thought I would take a moment to say "Hi" and wish everyone a fabulous Memorial Day.  I created a card using a new digi from Create with TLC from the "Think Happy Thoughts" collection here.

My wish for all of my wonderful blogger friends is that everyone be happy and blessed.

Create with TLC Eagles

When I see eagles I always think patriotic thoughts and of scriptures from the book of Psalm's.  Paulette has created a fabulous collage depicting eagles with her "Animal Instincts" collection here at Create with TLC.

Webster's Pages had just the right design paper I wanted to use, very patriotic and home and apple pie themed.  I used a Spellbinder's frame and a red gingham bow, all in a red, white and blue color scheme.

Fashionista!

Here's the last of my recent vintage creations made with images from Create with TLC.  This looks like an ad found in an old newspaper.   I sponged distress ink around my image to retain the vintage look.

I framed my image with my Sew Easy and used a Tim Holtz embossing folder.  A scrap of lace and button complete the design.

Vintage Girly Girl

Good morning!  It's not so sunny down south today, we are receiving some much needed rain and I'm so glad I worked in my flower beds yesterday.  Today I have another vintage image to show you from Create with TLC.   This is definitely "girly" and was a lot of fun to create.

What's so neat about this image is there's a sentiment provided!  I "aged" the image using distress ink and added just a touch of Copic markers to the hair and dress.  My flower was easy enough, just a slip of lace and a button and an instant flower!

Vintage Collage

This week I decided to get my vintage mojo in gear.  Create with TLC recently released some new vintage images which of course I had to have.  I created this collage using "Vintage Backdrop Travel" and "Vintage Cars Add Ons".

Can you believe, no coloring!  I made this collage using Photoshop.  I added a Tim Holtz ticket and a swatch of burlap for texture.   Working with digital images provides so many possibilities.
