Primsy Angel

I hope everyone had a glorious weekend! And what a weekend it was, my daughter as well as countless others experienced "snowmageddon". I kept busy yesterday working on creations for Sugar Creek Hollow. This is our preliminary preview week and members of our design team will be introduced on the store website every day. So to celebrate getting closer to our grand opening on March 1st, I want to share "Primsy Angel". (Note: I edited this post to add my picture back, seems Blogger does not want to display my original pic below - just a "?").
Isn't she just precious? I paper pieced her and added a few lavender shades with my Copic markers, as well as facial colors. I wanted a vintage look so I used distressed inked paper and also distressed the edges of my purple SU card stock. I also used jute for my buttons and laced it around my punched layer of card stock.
Thanks for visiting today and make sure you take time to visit Sugar Creek Hollow this week!

Sing and Make Music to the Lord

I wanted to share another Sugar Creek Hollow digital image with you today. This is "Sing and Make Music to the Lord". I fell in love with this as soon as I saw it. I sing in our church choir and fill in for our accompanist when she is away. Music has a special place in my heart and I think it is a very important ministry in itself. This was just a joy to create!
I used my Copics to color and my design paper is from K & Company. I added Prima mini roses, pearls, punched branches and border, lace, ribbon and Prima flower jewelry.
Stay tuned next week to Sugar Creek Hollow, there will be some announcements and you never know what you might miss!

I'd like to share the card I created for Kraftin' Kimmie's challenge this week. I decided to use "Clara" since the poor dear had never been inked before. This was my first attempt making a window card and I found it be a little more work intensive than I thought it would be.
About my card:
Basic Grey Lemonade collection
Prima flower, Martha Stewart flower punch, Nestabilities
