Another Birthday Card

This is another birthday card I made. Whenever I make a family card, my dad remembers he forgot to "buy" a card and asks if I can make him one! Of course, I can't say no. I decided to use a "Bella". I think a birthday is a wonderful excuse to indulge yourself so this stamp really appealed to me.

I colored with my Copics and my sentiment is from my Xyron. I guess by now you've guessed that Basic Grey is one of my favorite design papers. I am also an "equal opportunity" stamper - meaning I love and use all different stamps!

Happy Birthday Dear Daughter

I was just a "little" late on completing my daughter's birthday card. After all, I had the grandchildren (ages from 1 to 9) with me for three weeks! It was a fabulous time, but simply impossible for creating cards, LOL! Every time I even attempted to make a card all these little hands were right there with me also wanting to create cards. So, "Gramie" helped all those little hands making their own cards!

This is a Stampavie stamp from Rachelle Anne Miller, "Lola's Tea Party". What a marvelous image for a birthday stamp. I used Basic Grey design paper and colored with my Copics. I also used "Renaissance Hearts", one of the new pendant dies from Spellbinders.

card, I think it adds the finishing

touch!

So although this is late, I want to say "Happy Birthday Amy"!

How About Some "Digital Pencil"?

I just had to tell 'ya about the newest digi site I discovered, Mo's Digital Pencil. I fell in love with the image below, "Soaking Up The Joy". I needed an image and I needed one in a hurry. I discovered one of my dear "Curves" instructors was leaving to reunite with her significant other and pursue her dream. Well, this image was just perfect! And...I could have it in a snap!

I used my Copics (mostly the new pastels which I love!) and Basic Grey's new lemonade series.

I also had the most perfect inside verse which I luckily had on hand:

This was another digi I recently purchased from Paper Makeup Stamps. So...I love stamping and I also love digi's! I'm so glad we "stampers" have so many options.

Yes, sad but true...I am late posting a birthday card I made for my one year-old grandson Joshua. He is such a cutie patootie! He turned one on August 7th.

Happy Birthday to Me!

No, it's not really my birthday but it sure feels like it is! I have had nothing but computer problems since May - my laptop crashed a total of 7 times! I have not been a happy camper (to put it mildly). My dh has watched me moan and groan all summer and I've been on his workstation many times when he wanted to use it - so we visited the closest Apple store on Thursday. And...I came home with a new MacBook Pro! I have been agonizing on whether to stick with a PC or go to a MAC. I am an amateur photographer, so it made sense to go with the system with the best graphics. I have a lot to learn, but so far this has been like heaven!
