I cut two strips of paper two inches wide and scored every quarter inch. I then trimmed the strips accordingly and fanned them out in an oval pattern. My cross was colored with Copic markers, cut out freehand and then adhered to a panel cut with an Heirloom Ornament die before being placed on my pleated paper. My frame was created with the Grand Labels die. I used Recollections pearls and pearl dew drops to encircle the knot on my silk ribbon. The cardstock is from Bazzill and my design paper is from My Mind’s Eye 29th Street Market collection. I designed the inside with the same Grand Labels die and adhered my frame to AC Cardstock. I then used a butterfly from the Decorative Butterfly-Border Die set and a sentiment from the Wrought Iron Cross PreCut set. My sentiment is mounted on two labels from the Labels 4 set. All corner embellishments were made with the Parisian Accents set. Challenges entered: Stampin' Sisters in Christ - something new |
