Sugar Creek Hollow Saturday Challenge

This week our Sensational Saturday challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow is to create a vintage, shabby chic or primitive card or other paper-crafted project featuring SUNFLOWERS in the main image.  Here is my vintage card using an image from "Digital Two For Tuesday".  My sentiment is from Create With TLC.
I'm so excited to announce that Linda Coughlin is our fabulous sponsor for this week's challenge!!!  I am such a huge fan and always follow her blog.  She is one of the most amazingly talented vintage designers I've ever met!

Linda Coughlin, a.k.a The Funkie Junkie, loves using unusual frilly and funky items in her crafting. She has searched out or handmade the many delightful embellishments offered for sale in her Etsy boutique. Hand touched and personal attention to each and every order are hallmarks of her boutique. Linda warmly invites you to stop by for a browse.

We will be choosing a random winner who will receive a $15 gift certificate for The Funkie Junkie's Etsy boutique and a winner's badge from Sugar Creek Hollow to display on her blog.  In addition, the Design Team will choose one project as Card of the Week (or shall we say Project of the Week) and the creator will receive a badge to display on her blog and will be in the running for a Guest Designer spot.

Linda is also joining us as a Guest Designer and she and the Design Team have made some fabulous Sunflower cards. To get details on their projects, just click on each Designer's name and you will be taken directly to their blog.

Thanks for visiting, I appreciate all your support and encouragement!

I was nicknamed “Globug” about 30 years ago and it stuck! Hence, the name of my blog, Globug Ideas. I was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, where I still live with my wonderful husband, Peter. My mom, two awesome kids and three amazing teenaged grandchildren complete my little family. I am a communications consultant, but lately, I am spending less and less time consulting and more and more time making cards! The day I discovered digital stamps was my very LUCKY day! I love everything about digital stamps! I am truly thrilled to be part of the MMSC Design Team! I love a good challenge and MMSC offers just that! Sugar Creek Hollow Trash to Treasure Challenge

Welcome to another Sugar Creek Hollow Saturday challenge!  This week our challenge is to use "throw-away" items on your creation.  This is a great opportunity to recycle some of your "trash" and create a "treasure"!  I happened to be pondering what I was going to do for this challenge and noticed a discarded USPS folder in my trash can.  Instant kraft paper!  I stamped some images from Tim Holtz's "The Journey"stamp collection directly on the paper, plus also cut out and glued additional images.  I used design paper from Bo Bunny's "Timepiece" collection.

    The Journey

The Design Team will choose one project as Card of the Week and the creator will receive a badge to display and will be in the running for a Guest Designer spot.

All of our designers have created "treasures"  this week and I hope these will inspire you!

Thanks for visiting, I appreciate all your support and encouragement!
