I finally made some time last night to do some rubber stamping - this is such good therapy for jangled nerves! I have been ignoring my little Magnolia angels, so I inked up a couple of new stamps I had not had a chance to use. I had a lot of fun with the swimsuit Tilda, customizing a pier for her to sit on. The other Tilda/Tingla is holding a baby and is so precious. I then cut out my new set of Bitty Bugs and created a card to showcase this set.
This past Friday and Saturday included scrapbooking with friends at our church. Some of my friends brought their rubber stamping to work on. I worked on a scrapbook album Friday and spent time Saturday coloring images I had stamped. A friend was creating the most beautiful tiles with a stamped picture of the Cape Hatteras lighthouse. This is on a list of my "to do" projects now! I did all this with three grandchildren in tow!
Well I'm off now to work (play) outside and enjoy the little bit of August we still have left. School started today in our community - I can't believe Summer is almost gone!
