Sugar Creek Hollow - Vintage Bonnet

I'm so excited to be able to share another creation with you from Sugar Creek Hollow. These images are "Easter Hat" and "Joy of Spring". My hat is colored with Copic markers and is mounted on a distressed paper background which has been sponged with vintage sepia ink. The edges are curled slightly and then adhered to a piece of lace and an embossed background. Prima mini roses and a bow add the finishing touch to the bonnet. Oh, and I cannot forget the hatpin! What Easter bonnet would be complete without a hatpin?
My "Joy of Spring" image is nestled on punched card stock, the same design which frames my bonnet. The punch is from Martha Stewart, as well as the punch used for the two layers of lace on the bottom. The design paper is from Laura Ashley's "Traditional" collection.
Thanks for visiting and be sure to check out Sugar Creek Hollow's site. There will be a grand opening on March 1 and a prize given away to one lucky follower.
