Sensational Saturday at Sugar Creek Hollow

It's a brand new year and a Sensational Saturday at Sugar Creek Hollow!  This is our first sketch challenge of the year and I have a new creation to share with you:
Vintage Kitty
and here's a close up:
I used Tracey's "Meowy Christmas" stamp - it's just too cute! The digital image color was changed in Photoshop.  I used Basic Grey's Cappella collection, a Prima rose, Maya Road stickpin and a Spellbinder's die for my tag.  My oval is decorated with dew drops and I used a satin ribbon matching the color of my image.

Here is the sketch for the challenge:

Everyone is invited to enter a card using this sketch and you are not required to use an image from Sugar Creek Hollow but if you do you will get two entries into the random prize draw.  The winner of that draw will receive a digi of their choice from the Sugar Creek Hollow Shoppe and a badge to display on their blog.  Once we reach a minimum of 10 entries, the Design Team will select a Card of the Week and the creator of that card will receive a special badge to display on their blog.  Every month there will be a Guest Designer chosen from the Cards of the Week and that person will be invited to join the Design Team in a challenge.  There are lots of reasons to enter so we can't wait to see your fabulous creations!

And in case you didn't know, the proceeds from Sugar Creek Hollow go to provide food, clothing and shelter for the needy.

Thanks for visiting and please visit my team members blogs, they'd love to see your comments!

Marsha....Lord have mercy girl....your blog is gorgeous! I LOVE the design you have chosen. However, not quite as lovely as your card. You have such a way with vintage design. I adore what you did with this cat and the delightful embellishment you have used. Just makes for a stunning presentation.

Marsha, I have to say...you've outdone yourself (and me) this week... At least according to my son. I had the folder open with all of our challenge cards for this week and my son was looking. (not knowing exactly what the cards were) He said to me... "mom, I really like both of your cat cards but I think I like your green one a little better than your blue one." I turned & gave him a "look" & he turned white and said "the green one's not yours is it?". He felt so bad! I told him not to worry about it. I don't mind coming in second to a card as beautiful as yours! I love the pink, green and gold together. Great job!

Marsha,
What a great lovely card, The paper you have chosen is fab and it reminds me a vintage wall paper. You can see all the detail on the kitty in the colors that you have picked. Great work.
