Sensational Saturdays at Sugar Creek Hollow

Saturdays are always sensational at Sugar Creek Hollow!  That's when the design team creates new cards to share with you for inspiration.  This week the design team has fallen in love with a new digital stamp Tracy is introducing today, baby Jesus:
Here are some closeups:
and the scroll was designed by our own Donna Moore!
I think the artist did a very divine and inspired drawing.  The rest of the design team must be in agreement because I think everyone created a card with this fabulous image!

I changed the ink color of the digital image and then lightly used Copic marker E000 to enhance the skin tone.  My background paper was purchased from a local art store - this is all soft and wrinkly and has gold overlay, used for ink drawings.

Please join us for our sketch challenge!  We would love for you to play along,  just make your creation using the color combo and link it up with Mr. Linky HERE

I've listed our DT members below and hope you will visit, we love to hear from you!

Thanks for visiting and have a sensational Saturday!

Sugar Creek Hollow Nugget:

Matthew 1:21  And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His name JESUS: for he shall save His people from their sins"

Hi Marsha, this is just one fabulous card. All of the gold that you have used really gives this a regal appearance. I love how you printed the digi in almost a reliefe effect. Someone is going to have their breath taken away when they open this one.

An absolute museum piece, it has the elegant feel of something one would find in a Roman cathedral. The more I look at your creation the more I am aware of it's unique beauty! What a wonderful and love filled tribute to our King!
