This is the gate of the Lord... Stamping Sisters In Christ Challenge #28

I created this sympathy card for one of my dearest friends. I used Our Daily Bread's set, "Path of Life". This is such a comforting image and I love the sentiment from Psalm 118:20, "This is the path of the Lord, the righteous will enter through it". I am also entering this in the Stamping Sister's In Christ Challenge #28. I prayed for peace and comfort for my friend and her husband as I was creating their card.
I stamped my image with Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink. The only part of the image I colored was the gate so that would be the focal point. I used a gold Atyou Spica glitter pen. My design paper is from DCWV's La Creme Matstock. My "lace" was cut with a Martha Stewart border and edge punch.
Thanks for visiting!
